Establishment of the "Photonic Technologies Application and Research Center", first established as Photonic Research Laboratuary in 2000 by Prof. Ahmet ALTUNCU, has been approved by the decision No.44726 of the Council of Higher Education dated 22.07.2016.  Since its establishment, many research projects (DPT, TUBITAK, BAP etc.) and Dumlupınar University's support have made it one of the few research centers of our country as of today.

The Photonics Technologies Application and Research Center shares its opportunities with researchers working in universities and other institutions in our country. Researchers can carry out short or long term studies with laboratory facilities, especially young researchers can carry out master and doctoral thesis studies in our laboratory.

Our mission is to do researches in the fields of photonics and electronics that our country needs, to train specialists in these fields and to support many researchers from our university, other universities and non-university institutions.

Our vision is to make products and researches with the experience and infrastructure we have that can make a direct impact on daily life.
